The original farm was purchased in 1943 by Bob Witte's grandfather, Edward.
It was farmed by Bob's father and uncle along with his grandfather and taken over by Bob and Chris in 1985.
They raised their three children here, who plan to continue the farming tradition.
The family farm business is rapidly disappearing from southeastern Wisconsin.
We hope to keep our farm going for years to come and are looking for like-minded individuals to help us.
We are looking for a farmer to work directly under our farm owner.
Some responsibilities include performing physical labor, operating heavy machinery, and supervising farm workers.
To be successful as a farmer, you should demonstrate a passion for the outdoors, knowledge of agricultural machinery, and physical stamina.
Ultimately, should possess physical strength, good hand-eye coordination, and a keen interest in agriculture.
We will train the individual that is dedicated to making farming their career.
We are a seasonal business.
Overtime hours will vary weekly from June until October.
We hope to hire an individual that is able to work overtime in those months and part time in the winter/off season months.
This position potentially includes benefits including insurance, bonuses, and/or a retirement plan.
Salary/Wage dependant on knowledge and dedication.

Responsibilities:
Performing manual labor.
Performing maintenance on the farm.
Handling heavy machinery.
Repairing faulty vehicles and machinery.
Managing farming activities.
Overseeing farmworkers.
Suggested not required:
Previous experience in the farming industry.
Knowledge of farming best practices.
Able to work long hours on location.
Good communication skills.
Must be physically fit.
Excellent hand-eye coordination.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
