The Campus offers a 120-bed Care Center, offering both rehabilitation services and skilled care nursing.
On Campus is also the Lasata Crossings, a 60-unit Assisted Living facility and the Heights, a 60-unit independent living apartment building.
Position
Summary:
The nursing scheduler works independently under the supervision of the Director of Nursing maintaining the daily schedule for various nursing personnel while staying within budget.
Must be able to multitask and maintain the schedule 2-4 weeks out being aware of census changes.
Scheduler attends daily stand up/ morning meeting and participates in all orientation classes going over nursing guidelines.
Position requirements:
must possess a high school diploma must be computer literate with Word and Excel experience required.
Experience with scheduling software, OnShift, preferred Primary Responsibilities include:
70 % Organizes, prepares and completes accurate work schedules for nurses, nursing assistants and other nursing department personnel.
Arrangements replacement of staff as needed using both internal resources as well as outside agency staff.
Recruits for open shifts by walking-through facility units, making phone calls and sending electronic communications to staff.
Responsible for maintaining the nursing hiring needs.
20 % Posts schedules, open shifts and department changes on a timely basis in accordance with established policies and procedures.
2 % Relieves receptionists as necessary.
8 % Performs other clerical and miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
